Veterans Administration-Mount Vernon Clinic

The Audiology clinic at Mt Vernon Community Based Outreach Center of the Veterans Administration (307 S. 13th St., Suite 200 Mount Vernon, WA 98274) will be seeking an audiologist to provide intermittent coverage on a fee basis.    This position would be required to complete hearing evaluations to include choice of hearing aids and/or hearing aid fittings.

Intermittent work schedule may consist of a mixture of weekdays as needed and is flexible.

The pay would be based on the number of patients seen but would require a few days unpaid to get set up in the VA system and also to learn processes within the VAMC

Audiologist- The Vancouver Clinic

Clinic Audiologist- Founded in 1936, The Vancouver Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic located in Vancouver Washington, just north of Portland Oregon.

We are seeking an Audiologist who is interested in a part time position (32 hours per week) possibly increasing to full time as we grow.

We share a strong collaborative working relationship with the ENT department and have also established a vestibular therapy program with the PT department that has been very successful. Clinical responsibilities include audiometric examinations pediatric through geriatric, newborn infant hearing screening follow ups, ABR’s (office-based), and hearing devices. The successful candidate will establish rapport with patients, program and fit hearing instruments; follow up with adjustments and/or problems. This individual will be responsible for administration and direct application of audiology treatment modalities as defined by scope of practice and state licensure. Evaluate, plan, direct and treat all patients referred for audiology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provide departmental and nursing staff instruction on aspects of audiology. Provide information related to departmental budget considerations in relationship to audiology needs for optimum patient care and service. Assist in scheduling of patients visits for audiology evaluation and treatment. Perform some administrative duties at the delegation of the Oto/HNS Service Line Administrator and/or Chief of Audiology. Participate in infection control, safety and educational programs, both in the department and on an organizational basis. Additionally, the Audiologist Specialist 2 will administer and coordinate the Hearing Aid Program for UWMC on behalf of the Audiology Division of the Otolaryngology/ HNS center. This individual will assume complete responsibility for this specialized program, including administration, monitoring and reporting program information to the Oto/HNS Service Line Administrator and/or Chief of Audiology. Prepare reports related to Audiology activities, including performance improvement activities. Coordinate the program and outcomes data with other programs within UWMC as appropriate.

Position Title: Clinical  Audiologist in Bellingham WA

AUDIOLOGY POSITION IN A BUSY ENT/HEARING AID DISPENSING PRACTICE

Bellingham Ear, Nose and Throat/Hearing Health Clinic, located in beautiful Bellingham, Washington (approximately 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle and 1/2 hour south of the Canadian Border), is the only otolaryngology office in Whatcom County. Additionally, our Hearing Health Clinic is the only physician directed audiology office in Whatcom County. We work closely with our five otolaryngologists (one specializing in otology) and employ three audiologists (two full time/one part time). Our Hearing Health Clinic has a receptionist trained to perform simple audiology assistant tasks. Responsibilities:

Although we are looking for a full-time audiologist, the position can be somewhat flexible for the right candidate. Candidate would perform basic diagnostic testing, as well as hearing aid selection, fitting, follow up and counseling. Extensive hearing aid experience is not required. Education and Experience Requirements: Masters or Au.D. with a current Washington State Audiology/Dispensing license. Fourth year audiology students and recent audiology graduates are also encouraged to apply.
