Stacey D. Watson, MS, CCC-A
President



Stacey D. Watson, MS, CCC-A is an active member of the cochlear implant team at The Listen For Life Center At Virginia Mason.  She completed her Masters of Science degree in Audiology at University of Washington in 2000.  Stacey has worked in the hospital setting with people of all ages.  She performs a broad range of aural rehabilitative and diagnostic hearing services including ECochG, VEMPs, promontory stimulation, interoperative monitoring, and Baha counseling and fitting. 

Stacey's ongoing clinical research has been presented at several national and international conferences on cochlear implantation.  She is on the Organizing Committee for the 12th Symposium On Cochlear Implants In Children to be held in Seattle in July 2009.

Stacey is a Board Certified cochlear implant Audiologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Washington

Tiina joined the University of Washington Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty in 2006 and is currently involved in direct patient care and clinical supervision in the Audiology section of the UW Speech and Hearing Clinic.  Her role also includes lecturing in topics such Diagnostics, Cerumen Management, Special topics (billing/reimbursement; patient management; infection control) and has also taught courses in Basic Audiometry for undergraduates and Hearing Aid courses for AuD students. 

 

Following her Master’s degree, Tiina worked in a private practice for her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Santa Cruz, CA.  She then spent over 8 years at The Listen for Life Center at Virginia Mason where she provided the following clinical services:  infant through adult diagnostic testing, newborn screening, diagnostic otoacoustic emissions (OAEs),  auditory processing disorder (APD) evaluations, infant through adult auditory brainstem response evaluations, infant through adult hearing aid dispensing and BAHA fittings.   Tiina was also involved with leadership in the hospital setting in her roles as a Lead Audiologist for Diagnostics and later as the Clinical Supervisor.  Her contributions included process improvements in the department through planning, implementation, staff education and leadership. 

 

Tiina is Board Certified in Audiology, a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a licensed Audiologist in the state of Washington, and has her Certificate of Clinical Competency through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  She is currently serving a three-year term with the Washington Society of Audiology (WSA) as President-elect, President and Past-President.   Honors include American Academy of Audiology Scholar (2005-2006), ASHA Award for Continuing Education and she was selected to participate in the inaugural Future Leaders of Audiology Conference organized by the American Academy of Audiology.

Trisha L Ostermeier Au.D.,CCC-A, FAAA
President-Elect



Trisha was born and raised in Arizona and recieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the Univeristy of Arizona in 2001.  From Arizona she made a great treck through the midwest to land at Central Michigan University where she recieved her Doctorate in Audiology in 2005.  Trisha completed her fourth year externship at a priviate practice in Santa Rosa California and then spent a year at Kaiser Permanente before moving to Seattle.  Currently, Trisha practices at The Polyclinic in Seattle. Her clinical services include newborn hearing screening, pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, VNG, and ABR as well as dispensing hearing aids

Trisha is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Washington, a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and has her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Assocation (ASHA).


Brenna Carroll, Au.D.,FAAA

Brenna received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington in 2002 and Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Washington in 2005.  Brenna is currently employed by Group Health Cooperative where she is involved in a variety of clinical services, including infant through adult diagnostic testing, newborn hearing screening, VNG testing, and adult hearing aid dispensing.   

Brenna is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.  She is also a licensed audiologist in the state of Washington.

Melanie A. Duldulao, Au.D. CCC-A, FAAA
Secretary



Melanie is originally from the island of Oahu and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii in 2002.  She then continued her education and received her Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Washington in 2005.  Melanie worked with two ENTs at Valley Medical Center performing basic diagnostic audiometry, then joined Evergreen Speech and Hearing Clinic from 2006-2009.  Melanie is currently practicing at Group Health Cooperative.  Her clinical services include newborn hearing screening, pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, OAE testing, and hearing instrument evaluation and dispensing.

Melanie is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Washington, a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and has her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Assocation (ASHA).
